PIK-3c Kajava PIK-3c 'Kajava' on Olavi Roinisen johtama purjelentokonehanke, joka alkoi vuonna 1957. Pääsuunnittelijoina toimivat Olavi Roinisen ohella myös Urpo Pikkarainen ja Tuomo Tervo. Siiven rakenteet : Normali rima-kaarirakenne, molemminpuolinen torsiopäällystys, torsion muoto skaalassa. Rungon rakenteet : Vanerikaaret, rimarakenne, vaneriverhoilu. Kone on luonteeltaan helppo lentää, hidas ja vakaa. Ei tarkoitettu taitolentoon.

PIK-3c Kajava PIK-3c 'Kajava' is an sailplane which was designed by Olavi Roininen. Project started 1957. Head designers were Olavi Roininen, Urpo Pikkarainen and Tuomo Tervo. Fuselage construction
: lite-ply formers, longitudial ribs, plywood outer
shell. Wing
construction : normal
rib-struture, torsion. Plane is extremely easy, slow and
stable to fly.
This plane is not meant for aerobatics. |
| Prototyypin rakennuskertomus täällä. Prototyypin rakennus vei n. 26 päivää. Ensilentokin on suoritettu, 7.5.2011 Räyskälässä osana Räyskälä Aerotow-tilaisuutta. Ensilento sujui varsin malliikkaasti, kaksi videota alla. Osa I on lyhyeksi leikattu versio ensilennosta, osa II on pidempi versio johon on sisällytetty myös lennon aikana liidokissa kuvattua videota. Kolmas video on kuvattu Wredeby Aerotow-tilaisuudessa 3.7.2011. |  |
Prototype build log here. Buillding it took 26 days. Photographs below are from Model Expo 2011 at Helsinki where prototype was on display at IGG FInland stand. Maiden flight was done at Räyskälä aerotow event 7.5.2011. It went rather well. Below you will find two videos of event and one video from later events. |
